Membership subscriptions are collected annually and cover the year to January. You have to be a paid-up club member before you can access reduced clinic fees and compete in competitions for the club. Full year membership is £25 (£15 for non-riding membership).
Once a member you will be sent regular updates via email from the club secretary. The latest news and information on events, competitions and clinics is also available on the website and our facebook page.
Clinics are subsidised by membership fees and other fund-raising activities run by the club. Members can join as Junior members up to the year of their 18th birthday. Your club subscription entitles you to discounts on entry fees and other subscriptions, to four free copies of The Rider magazine per year, access to lower horse insurance rates and personal insurance at all club activities. For BRC details on membership see webpage: http://www.bhs.org.uk/enjoy-riding/british-riding-clubs/joining-a-brc
The subscription form and questionnaire are essential sources of information for the club committee, by completing them in as much detail as possible you will aid us in putting on a programme geared to what you want or need. We are constantly looking for people to help at events as stewards, judges, scorers, jump judges, etc. Please help us, even if it is only once or twice a year. Also we want everyone to participate in teams… we have teams at all levels and great team spirit at outside events.
Payments can be made online in our shop, or download and fill in this form and pay by cheque which should be made payable to SWDG please and sent with contact details to the Membership Secretary (Sue Soame, Church House Farm, West Chelborough, DT2 0PY). It is possible to pay your subscription by Standing Order after the first year of membership.
You can join or renew your membership by paying online in our shop – click here to do this.
